VW VR6 12/24v Custom Tune
The VW VR6 has a sound and character all its own, and our 12v/24v calibration is built to enhance it. We optimize throttle response, fueling, and timing to deliver a fuller, more eager power band while keeping the engine smooth and dependable. Each file is developed on the road, verified on the dyno, and calibrated against factory spec sheets so reliability is never in question. Tell us your engine version, modifications, and goals through our Controller ID submission and we will tailor the tune to your exact VR6 setup.
A 2.8 VR6 has a sound and a character the stock file sands down. The pedal is dull and the motor never quite matches what you hear. We rebuild throttle, fuel, and ignition for the 12-valve or 24-valve you picked. The 12v gets the torque and the idle it is known for. The 24v gets the top of the tach. Either way, the pedal finally matches the engine.
Verified on the dyno against factory spec — not just a street pull and a guess.
