Audi/VW AEB 1.8T Custom Tune 1997-1999
The early AEB 1.8T is prized by tuners for its robust bottom end and big-port head, and our calibration is built to exploit that potential. We rework boost, fueling, and timing to deliver the strong, responsive power band this motor is capable of, scaled to your stock K03 or upgraded turbo. Every file is proven on the road and the dyno and developed against factory spec sheets, so it stays safe and dependable. Send us your engine details, modifications, and goals through our Controller ID submission and we will dial the tune in for your AEB.
The early 1.8T has the bones for a strong street motor, but the stock file keeps boost and timing conservative. It feels sleepy off idle and never quite leans on the turbo in the midrange the way the car wants to. We rebuild boost, fuel, and ignition so torque comes in earlier and the pedal finally matches the engine. The car pulls cleaner through the rev range you actually use — a finished street 1.8T, not a held-back factory map.
