The Audi 4.2L V8 is a high-revving, charismatic engine, and our calibration is developed to enhance it with precision. We optimize throttle mapping, air/fuel, and ignition timing to deliver sharper response and a stronger top end while preserving the engine's reliability and refinement. Each file is validated on the road and the dyno and developed against manufacturer spec sheets. Send your vehicle details and any modifications via our Controller ID submission and our tuners will tailor the tune to your goals.
A 4.2 is a high-revving V8 that the stock file treats like a luxury motor. Throttle is soft, the top end is held back, and the car never quite unloads the way this displacement wants to. We sharpen throttle and rebuild air/fuel and ignition so the V8 pulls harder through the rev range it was designed for. The pedal matches the engine.
